12 Step Program

The organisation Narcotics Anonymous was established in 1953 to assist those fighting drug addiction. However, it has subsequently widened its scope and now accepts individuals struggling with any type of addiction, including those to heroin, cocaine, prescription medications, and even alcohol. 

The 12-step method is used in this program. They place a lot of emphasis on using social support to recover from addiction and give over control of your life to a higher power.
